My Story
Hello! My name is Dennise and I am a 2nd Act woman entrepreneur. I had a successful career as a nonprofit professional and decided to live a dream into being by starting my first business. That is when CTD Creative Consulting was born. I experimented with different services but found my passion in using the digital space to build relationships.
I am a relationship-based digital marketing strategist who supports women entrepreneurs like me in growing their impact. I am a former radio DJ, a world traveler, a huge fan of bringing people together to do good things in the world, a rambunctious storyteller, a background actor, and CEO of CTD Creative Consulting. My passion is to work with women service providers in growing their successful businesses by building a strategic online presence. We do this by assessing what you have, improving what works, and eliminating the unnecessary using systems-based approaches and having some fun doing it, too. That way you can have the biggest impact possible without feeling overwhelmed to do ‘all the things’. We come up with a strategy that makes sense for your business and connects you with your dream client.
As a former nonprofit professional, I know what it is like to bootstrap an operation and streamline processes to get the most out of your limited resources. As a service-based entrepreneur myself, I use that knowledge and experience to effectively grow my business by leveraging the digital space in a strategic way.
I want to share my knowledge and support you as a growing, woman-led business by sharing my experience and tips with you. Together, we will hone your unique message and create a smart digital engagement strategy to connect with your community of dream clients.

MY MISSION
My passion is to support 2nd Act women entrepreneurs with growing their 5 figure businesses to 6 figure successes by leveraging their online presence in genuine ways using relationship marketing strategies.
As your digital marketing strategist, we work together to build awareness about the brilliant thing that your business is bringing to the world. I do this in several ways:

- Supporting you and your team with implementing that plan

Some back story about me….I moved to New England, sight unseen, in 2018 from Portland, Oregon. I LOVE my new home in Rhode Island. I am the mother of Lila who is a young adult embarking on her life as a college student in Scotland.
I have enjoyed a varied career, ranging from nonprofit work to community radio management to now owning my own business – CTD Creative Consulting LLC – where I provide online marketing support to women business owners who seek to grow their business by building meaningful connections in the digital space.
I am a graduate of the Leadership Rhode Island Core Program (LRI ‘ 21) and the Social Enterprise Greenhouse Accelerator Program for Entrepreneurs (2022). I am also a content creator once serving as the host of Artclectic New England – a show I created and produced in 2018/2019 featuring local arts and culture organizations and thought leaders. I also served as host and producer of BroadBand the Podcast – a show featuring the wisdom and inspiration of women entrepreneurs. I am the founder of Amplification Allies, an intentional peer networking group for women business owners that focuses on peer marketing support strategies.
I love living a big life one small adventure at a time and shares her stories on social media and as a lifestyle blogger called The Adventure Broad. I also host a women’s social group called Dames Who Do RI that hikes, dines, and attends other fun events in the community. I discovered a passion for performing and stepped into the world of acting where you can spot me in the ballroom scene of the final episode of Season One of The Gilded Age.
As a fan of storytelling and motivational chutzpah, I am a BIG fan of inspiring others to connect with each other and pursue their best lives.
